Heather Weiszhaar, FNP-C, is a board certified family nurse practitioner. Heather graduated
Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Augustana University located in Sioux Falls,
SD in 2009. She went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2016 from Maryville
University in St. Louis, MO where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Heather is
board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also a member of the
National Honor Society of Nursing Zeta Zeta and Omicron Iota Chapters.
Heather’s nursing career spans over 17 years. She has experience in a wide range of
specialties including cardio-pulmonary, operating room, and neonatal intensive care. She was
nominated for the March of Dimes Change Nurse of the Year award in 2016 by her colleagues.
Heather has spent the last 9 years practicing as a nurse practitioner in orthopedic hand surgery. Heather lives in Phoenix with her maltipoo, Trixie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, live music, working out, and is an avid sports fan
